Quality Management in Pihl
Pihl considers quality management a natural part of all contracts.
This is how we can guarantee the same high standard irrespective of the extent of the project.
Pihl’s experience tells us that good quality management is an important condition for a successful implementation of a contract. The quality management helps ensure optimum design, planning, execution and handing over of a project and is therefore a natural tool in connection with the implementation of all of Pihl’s contracts.
Pihl’s quality management system complies with the requirements in e.g. DS/EN ISO 9001 and is structured to facilitate adoption to special conditions or specific demands and wishes on the part of the client. The system is regularly re-evaluated on the basis of new acquired experience from completed contracts, internal and external audits and not least the daily contact with current contracts.
Focus on quality management
– from start up to handing-over of a contract
Quality management plays a role as early as in the planning of contract works. Before commencement of a contract, we carry out a process scrutiny as an in-depth knowledge of the project documents gives a better basis for determining execution methods. Tender control plans are also reviewed and the final control plan is prepared.
Pihl’s quality management employees do regularly control the progress and status of the quality management for current contracts. This is done by performing audits that help keep focus on quality management throughout the entire contract period. When performing audits it is decided whether the quality management for the contract is sufficient or if further measures need to be taken.
